Wrinkles are good.
They show expression, tell a story and create warmth in a face and body. However, too much may not always be a good thing.
When your wrinkles start to make a home on your resting face, others may interpret you as being anxious, stressed, angry, tired or old.
In fact, people in their 20's or 30's are so conscious of this, they are implementing preventative strategies before these resting wrinkles become an issue. One of the reasons why celebrities look so good for so long!
Without taking away your natural finesse, we take our time to give you exactly what YOU want. Instead of flooding you with large amounts of product at once, we aim to give you maximum benefit with minimum product in safe surroundings and regular follow up.
Your vibrancy will be restored with people complimenting you on how fresh you look, rather than "What did you have done?"

What are Wrinkle Relaxer injections?
There are many brands of wrinkle relaxers all over the world. They all contain varying versions of the same active ingredient, which is a purified bacterial protein. To be registered in Australia, they undergo strict evaluation for purity, quality and safety profile. Medical Skin and Laser, under government regulations cannot disclose the brand name on this website. What we can tell you, is that we only use proven products and administration, which have world class reputation, being leaders in this industry for over 20 years.
What does treatment involve?
Treatments are simple and non-invasive. After an initial consultation (10-25 mins), our Doctor works with you to formulating a plan to address exactly what you want. Medical Skin and Laser introduce a microneedle with the syringed product attached. As per plan, it is gently inserted into the facial muscles we are aiming to "relax." It often is completed in a matter of minutes with minimal side effects. Patients are able to continue with their day, without a trace that anything has been done. Medical Skin and Laser offer ice to assist numb the skin prior to injections, but this is rarely required.

What aftercare is involved?
After-care is imperative for optimal results and minimisation of side effects. When making an appointment to have wrinkle-relaxer injections, it is important that for al least 4 hrs afterwards (preferably the rest of the day):
You may apply makeup immediately following your treatment. Avoid facials and saunas the day of treatment.
Do not get hot and sweaty doing anything- sauna, long day at the beach, gym session, exercise
Do not rub the area of face treated- hands, beauty facials
Do not engage in ANY horizontal activity
Do not put your face in a donut and have a massage or treatment.
The reason for this, is that our Experienced Doctor injects the product in a particular place for a particular reason. If the product is pushed/rubbed/distributed to another surrounding muscle, it may cause a diminished effect on the targeted muscle, but worse, an unwanted side effect such as eyelid or eyebrow droop.
There can be a slight chance of bruising at the treated site, this is temporary. Be assured that any tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours of treatment.
You can use your face muscles as much as you want, and we encourage you to do so. This enables the product to be taken up by the right muscles.
How Long Does it take to work?
Everyone is different in how they will react to the product. On average, most people will experience a difference in 3-5 days, but it may take 10-14 days in some people. Full results won't be evident until 2-3 weeks time. Medical Skin and Laser always have you return at 2 weeks to reassess your satisfaction and results. Your happiness is important to us!
How long will the results last?
Again everyone is different. Usually, if you have never had an wrinkle-relaxer injection, results may last 3-4 months. If you are a regular injectee, than the average is 4-5 months, with some reporting 8-9 months. This is more commonly seen with patients who have regular wrinkle-relaxer maintenance. It is also seen in those who have regular dermal filler injections, as both seem to work together to build longevity. Lower face injections tend to only last on average 6 weeks.
What are the side effects?
Most people experience no side effect besides wrinkle relaxation and a refreshed look. Like all medications however, side effects are always possible. The good news is that the instant side effects like headache, stinging, bruising, redness at injection site resolve fairly quickly. Developing side effects such as muscle weakness, eyelid/eyebrow droop are also temporary as it takes 2 weeks to 3 months to resolve. You would be very unlucky to be allergic to this product, but if you were, you have all the emergency care, medications and protocols at your fingertips in this medical grade facility.
Medical Skin and Laser charge for the type and amount of filler (per unit) that is used and therefore actual prices can vary. An initial consultation is always required to formulate a plan. The procedure and associated charges are discussed thoroughly in this session.
